Kia ora Whanau!

Super excited and terrified to release the first playable version of our game..

Potions! was borne from an an idea that set out to be little more than a learning project. And through the learning process it developed into something I'm really proud of - as a naive game developer.

I admit I never thought I would actually make a game! It always seemed to be a world beyond my understanding, however much I have consumed games - good and bad - for over 30 years..

Luckily for me there are incredible tools available, and people willing to share their knowledge in the nuts and bolts (bits and bytes) of game dev. Also my wonderful partner who has encouraged me every step of the way, and also supplied her amazing artwork to the project.

And so it has reached a 'preview' version - playable from front to back, however there are things I would love to add to the game if time and resources allow!

There is a new version of the Demo available now that is updated to the release version and a full version for purchase also.

If you like the game and you'd like to support the cause - consider purchasing a copy of the full game (which is hopefully priced somewhat accurately!)

I'd love to hear from you if you do play the game and any news is good news, even if you don't like the game or aspects of it! I'm all ears.
