Potions! has now been in development for over a year and we have decided to make the game available in early access

As every dev knows it is easy to find yourself in an endless list of things to fix, repair, change, redevelop and completely overhaul - but at some stage we must put the game out for people to play and learn about how it is received

Also with early access we aim to re-energize ourselves to take the game through the final stage - and player feedback is invaluable for this!

Potions! featured on G.Round play testing platform in May 2022 and received a ton of positive feedback and reviews - you can read them here https://gameround.co/detail/256/review/reviews

After play testing we went back into development to take the game further and build upon the base game

We have decided to make the first 3 regions available as an early access build to let people play the and continue to gain feedback while we finish the rest of the game

New features include:

Marco's Emporium  Recipes, Spells, Maps and Ingredients now purchased from the shop, introducing a limit to ingredient stock and stock management

Offensive Spells Various enemies will appear to disrupt your potion cart - now you can purchase spells to fight off bandits and evil doers

Drinkable Potions Many of the potions you brew can be drunk to give buffs, restore health and mana, or reverse debuffs

Tutorial Starting a new game will take you through a brief tutorial outlining how to run your cart

New Music System Dynamic music reacts to events in the game instead of playing constantly

New Smoke FX  Awesome smoke simulations react to brewing potions and objects in the scene UI New font and UI layout to make the game easier and more fun to play

On top of the new features we have been hard at work fixing bugs, replacing artwork and balancing the game-play
